New Summer Products

We have developed a new range of PVC Tablecloths and Table Linen, including quilted dinner mats, napkins and cotton drill tablecloths in a fresh and contemporary style we call 'spot-on'. You can see an example of our Electric Plate Warmer in the new fabric. We have also produced, Melamine Trays in the new Spot on Range, including a large dinner tray and a smaller coffee or armchair tray.

There has been a new improvement to the website's search functionality - you can now search by price instead of just name, for those occasions where you want a gift and have a budget, but don't know what to buy.

Current projects for the website include adding a comments section and automatic order tracking, both of which will be appearing soon.

Keep Them Doggies Rollin'

We are pleased to introduce to our Website a new Gifts for Pets section. We have a range of unique Pet coats and blankets made from 'Looper Fleece' to keep your pooch dry and healthy after walks.

Coming Soon - 'Search By Price'
Some of our customers have asked us to implement a 'Search By Price' option so that our catalogue can be filtered by price range, perfect for when you know your exact budget. We are working on adding this functionality to our website and hope to bring you this shortly.

Apocalypse Now!

We did no work at all last week (Ok maybe a bit) since our newest range of remote controlled helicopters arrived. These mad flying machines have been busily buzzing round our office and showroom in Fulham . We even took them to our local pub and flew them around inside! Our drinking buddies were so impressed we sold about 10 of the Mini Helicopters - although I'm not sure the bar manageress was impressed.

The complete range of 'copters includes several co-axial helicopters (where two sets of rotors turn in opposite directions to maintain stability) and a Schweizer 300 lookalike as well as a cool Airwolf™-esque helicopter.

The helicopters weren't the only things getting us buzzed this week; we managed to source the impressive Gaggia coffee makers from Italy and will be putting these on our website soon. These new coffee makers take the beans in an inbuilt grinder and have a 'dose measurement' system so you get the perfect amount of coffee grounds in your daily cuppa.

In other news; we will be implementing a few new ideas to the overall website design shortly (when I can work out how to do them!). The first is to display approximate prices in Euros and Dollars for each product so that visitors from other countries will be able to do local currency budgeting when considering our range. We will also soon be adding a 'special offers' facility where we will be offering certain seasonal products and reduced prices for quantity orders etc.

After the Fair and Froogle

We've just come back from the Birmingham Spring Fair, where we had the opportunity to meet a wide selection of the world's best suppliers, retailers and manufacturers. We had a great fair and will be adding lots of great new products to our website shortly, including some cool remote controlled helicopters, boats and cars to be added to our Children's Gifts section (but I expect adults will want them too!). At our after-show meeting, we decided to extend our range of Spot On polka dot homewares, which have been selling very well since their introduction last autumn; we are planning to create a new selection of high quality table linen, including PVC-coated tablecloths, napkins, kitchen accessories and trays.

On Froogle
Our website has evolved from its first incarnation as a fairly static ecommerce site to the database driven site we have today and this has allowed us to create a bulk upload of all our products into Froogle - Google's product finder which will let people find our increasing range of gifts and homewares products more easily.
